ATME is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • Service availability or reliability
  • Message delivery or accuracy
  • Freedom from errors or interruptions
  • Security against all threats
  • That 311 service requests will be received, processed, or resolved by any municipality

User Responsibility

Use of ATME is at your own risk. AI parking recommendations are informational only and do not replace posted signs, meters, or local regulations. Appeal letters generated by ATME are informational tools, not legal advice.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ATME harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of others' rights

  • Inaccurate ticket information you enter into Fight a Ticket

10. Termination

Your Rights

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the app, using the delete tool on our Privacy Policy page, or contacting us at team@atme.is.

Our Rights

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, illegal or harmful activity, inactivity for extended periods, or technical or security reasons.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination your access to ATME will cease, your account data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy, and these Terms will continue to apply to past usage.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date, announce significant changes in the app, and continued use constitutes acceptance. If you don't agree to updated Terms, you must stop using ATME.

13. Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ATME.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Assignment

You may not assign these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations to affiliates or successors.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

14. 311 Municipal Service Requests

How It Works

ATME may offer the ability to submit service requests to your local municipality's 311 system when a reported issue is not resolved through direct communication on ATME.

Your Responsibilities

  • All information you provide in the report is accurate and truthful
  • You will not submit false, fraudulent, or intentionally misleading reports
  • You understand the report will be submitted to a municipal government system outside of ATME's control
  • You consent to sharing your report details and location with the municipality at the time of submission

ATME's Role

ATME acts solely as a submission tool. We do not guarantee any municipality will receive, accept, or act on your request; have any authority over municipal operations; or assume responsibility for any municipal actions or inactions. See our Privacy Policy for details on what information is shared.

15. Fight a Ticket — AI Appeal Letters

Fight a Ticket does not provide legal advice. Appeal letters generated by ATME are AI-produced informational documents only. ATME is not a law firm and is not your legal representative.

How It Works

The Fight a Ticket feature allows you to enter details about a parking citation you have received. ATME uses AI to analyse your situation against publicly available legal frameworks and generate a draft appeal letter you may choose to submit.

Important Limitations

  • Appeal letters are generated by AI and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information
  • Legal frameworks, deadlines, fine amounts, and appeal procedures change frequently — always verify current rules independently
  • ATME does not guarantee any letter will result in dismissal, reduction, or any other favourable outcome
  • Missing an appeal deadline may result in increased fines or loss of appeal rights — ATME is not responsible for missed deadlines
  • Currently available for Washington DC, Baltimore, New York City, London, and Manchester

Your Responsibilities

  • All ticket information you enter is accurate and relates to a citation you legitimately received
  • You will review the generated letter carefully before submitting it to any authority
  • You understand and accept responsibility for the contents of any letter you submit
  • You will not use this feature to generate fraudulent or false appeal letters
  • You are solely responsible for meeting all applicable deadlines
  • Submitting a generated letter does not create a lawyer-client relationship with ATME

Do Not Pay While Appealing: In most jurisdictions, paying a parking ticket — even partially — permanently closes your right to appeal. Do not pay your fine while an appeal is pending. Verify this rule for your specific city before taking any action.

ATME's Role

ATME acts as an informational tool only. We do not represent you, file documents on your behalf, or communicate with any government authority on your behalf. You are solely responsible for submitting your appeal and any subsequent steps.

16. Payments and Fees

Current Pricing

Core ATME features — including anonymous messaging, AI parking assistance, and community tips — are free to use.

Future Paid Features

ATME may introduce paid features in future versions. Where paid features are introduced, pricing will be clearly displayed before any purchase is required. Purchases through the App Store are subject to Apple's payment terms; purchases through Google Play are subject to Google's payment terms. Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or platform policy.

Refunds

If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at team@atme.is. For in-app purchases, refund requests must be made through the relevant app store platform.
