How to Register

  1. Download ATME from the App Store or visit app.atme.is
  2. Enter your email address and create a username
  3. Check your email and click the verification link
  4. Add your license plate number to receive messages
  5. You're ready to help your community!

How to Send a Message

  1. Enter the license plate number of the vehicle
  2. Select from our preset helpful messages
  3. Confirm your choice via email verification
  4. Your anonymous message is delivered instantly

How Recipients Receive Messages

Vehicle owners receive messages via text or app notification without seeing who sent them, maintaining complete privacy for both parties.

Troubleshooting

App Not Loading

  • Check your internet connection
  • Restart the app completely
  • Update to the latest version from the App Store
  • Restart your device if issues persist

Email Verification Problems

  • Check your spam/junk folders
  • Ensure your email address was entered correctly
  • Wait up to 5 minutes for email delivery
  • Contact support if verification emails don't arrive

Can't Find License Plate

  • Verify the license plate number is correct
  • Check that you selected the right state/province
  • Some plates may not be registered in our system yet

ATME is designed with anonymity as the core principle. Recipients never see your name, phone number, or personal information. We don't store your location or track your movements.

What We Collect

We collect minimal information:

  • Email address (for login and notifications)
  • Username (can be anything, not your real name)
  • License plate numbers you register
  • Message content (temporarily, automatically deleted)

We do NOT collect:

  • Your real name or personal identity
  • Phone number or contact details
  • Location data or GPS tracking
  • Photos or personal images

Reporting Inappropriate Behavior

If you experience any problems:

  1. Use the in-app "Report" feature
  2. Email us at support@atme.is with details
  3. Include relevant information (license plate, time, issue description)
  4. Our team will investigate and take appropriate action

How anonymous is ATME really?

Recipients never see your personal information. All messages are completely anonymous while maintaining accountability through email verification.

What if the license plate isn't registered?

You can send an invitation message. If they join ATME, they'll receive your original message within 30 days.

How fast are messages delivered?

Messages are typically delivered within seconds through push notifications, SMS, or email based on user preferences.

Is there a limit to messages I can send?

Individual users can send up to 50 messages per day, with a maximum of 3 messages per recipient to prevent spam.
